archiveshang gliding exhibit at john wayne airportsitting at the john wayne airport baggage claim area (as i often do) i've thought how cool it would be to see hang gliders hanging from the ceiling. after all, orange county is the home of wills wing, southern california was the epicenter for hang gliding in the seventies, and well, it's an airport! a month of emails, phone calls, letters, and face to face meetings with the airport administration followed... and this morning, i received notice from the curator of the john wayne airport arts commission that my proposal for a hang gliding exhibit at the john wayne airport, has been officially (and unanimously) approved! |
