Thanks to John Samul the weed whacking party at Marshall Saturday is going to be a lot easier. John put in a gargantuan effort and single handedly weed whacked everything but the steep part of the HG launch. He went up on several different days to do that.

This means with 3 weed whackers we can clean up the rest pretty quickly and if we take some pick axes we might even be able to clear the HG launch to allow launches into east winds.

With the summer inversion doldrums underway... and to celebrate my H4, I a heading to Torrey Friday if anyone wants to come down and join.

Hope to see some Crestliners down there.

If anyone else shows, I plan on eating at Dalton's Roadhouse in Encinitas on the way home... great BBQ and beer.

Hi Guys!

Dave and I are in Utah, sitting in a coffee shop waiting for the afternoon overdevelopment to pass. When we arrived last evening, it was flyable on the south side. I managed to get twenty something touch-and-goes! It was really fun. Dave got a boat load of flying too. Then it turned gusty and we packed up.

This morning we were out there again, along with Ryan Voight and Rick (from colorado who we met on hanggliding.org), and Cal, also from the org.
