Bruce Carr Update

We have heard from Bruce's daughter this morning. He had a cerebral hemorage while flying. He had no injuries from the crash.
During surgery they removed a 'mass of tissue' and didn't get it all. He is comatose and paralized on his right side. He will be in intesive care 2-3 weeks. He has high blood pressure and has been under a lot of stress recently and hasn't been eating right. This all I know at this time.
Please, please pray for Bruce and his family.

Terrible News

Bruce is just plain cool. At least recovery won't be hampered by additional injuries. All the best to Bruce and his family.

As NMERider said on hanggliding.org, we're all getting older and in-flight medical issues are more likely. I suppose that's why powered pilots need medical clearance. Not suggesting Bruce was unfit to fly. Shows we need to add more than wind/weather into the equation when evaluating 'conditions for flying'.

Good Flying,
