So Cal Soaring PredictorIs the soaring predictor down? I am not able to get the actual site prediction info..... is it a "north" thing? Thanks Forums > Website Forum Flight > HG Sites > SoCal News > Local Flying Soaring Non-PredictorHmm... Looks like a change in one of the source data sites has struck. I'll leave the pages up for access to the RASP's while I figure things out. - Alan Looks like we're backLooks like we've modified the code to read the new NOAA website. - Alan |

So Cal Soaring Predictor
Howdy Chris !
Tad's Excellent Predictor (now administered by Alan Crouse)(Thanks Alan!)...has not been so excellent lately...but might be a good reference for deciding which site to choose. Of course, Rob's 9am assesment at High Adventure is highly accurate. This site has great observation of Crestline (click weather at the top of the page here)..the arrows are very cool.
I refer to these three. The First two are predictions...the third is observation.
