Point of the Mountain - July 3rd

The moon was nearly full enough to have flown last night at midnight. We almost had a go! This morning it was hard to know if the sun came up, because the glow of the moon was so bright in the tent when I fell off to sleep.

I dashed out of the tent at first light, set up the glider while everyone else was snoozing, and was in the air by 6:10AM. By 7:15AM I had 1:04hr of flying. Popped the video camera on the helmet and took another 15 minute flight.

But the winds we getting light and the bags were showing up, so I called it a day.

We're waiting for thunder storms, but we just might have a flyable afternoon. Fingers crossed!!
