Crestline Soaring Society

We had a very fun turkey meet. Altitudes over 7,500 ft were reported, thats almost a mile over launch. Out of 20 entries, we had 2 pilots donate and got free entry. Everday Mike for the trophies and Kevin Green for the food. One guy didn't fly and asked for a refund. That left 17 paid entries for a total of $425.00 which I personally gave to Bruce and he said thank you to everyone. Also many people put checks and cash in Bruce's bag. We never gave out the trophies for the toe dipper and para glider division. Don't know what to do with those. I didn't plan on handing out a whack award, but Dave was so deserving. Next flyin is Dec. 12th at Horse Canyon down on the 8 Fwy with a party at Wayne Denny's THING RANCH. Hope to see you all there. John kerry
