The Thursday Report

Forums:

A NICE TURNOUT FOR A THURSDAY. ABOUT 30 SOME PILOTS OUT FOR THE DAY, WITH SOME PILOTS IN FROM CANADA AND ELSEWHERE IN THE WORLD, TO ENJOY OUR FALL WEATHER. WELCOME ALL!

FLIGHT TIMES OF 30 MINS. TO ABOUT 3 HOURS FOR SOME. (AJ)

CRESTLINE, MARSHALL & THE 750 WERE USED FOR LAUNCHING THROUGHOUT THE DAY FOR ALL.

THE LIFT AFTER 4 PM. AVERAGED 100-400 FPM WITH SMOOTH EDGES.

ALTITUDE GAINS FROM 4500 TO 6K FOR SOME PILOTS. LATE DAY CUMBIES STARTED TO FORM AFTER 4 PM WHICH GAVE SOME OF US LIFT TO OVER 5500 MSL. A NICE TREAT FOR THOSE WHO WERE STILL UP. PILOTS WERE STILL SOARING TILL NEAR SUNDOWN.

SAW JEFF BETHER KITING THAT NEW WING IN THE LZ EARLY ON. HAPPY DAYS!

SMILES ALL AROUND IN THE LZ LATE DAY. SEEMS LIKE THE LZ WAS A "HAPPY PLACE" , ONCE AGAIN!

PILOTS REPORTING SOME GREAT FLYING ON TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY. THANKS JD & MARK HOFBRAU FOR THOSE REPORTS!

FLY SAFE!

Jeff Bether was kiting? Hang gliders aren't that much fun to kite.

I forgot.

Don tell Rebar Dan.

I hate to see a grown man cry.

Fly Safe!
