While some of us took advantage of the short onshore window to get some airtime today, club president Jeff Boehler was at the 750 launch smoothing the edge and making it a little more paraglider-friendly.  At least somebody does some actual work around here ;)

Hey Everyone, it's that time of year again to hold our annual elections.

We have a Write-Iin space for each office on the ballot (links below) that you will be able to print & mail in.

2015 CSS Annual Christmas Toy Drive

It is once again the season of giving and CSS is partnering with the San Bernardino City/County Fire Department (SBCFD) for the Christmas annual toy drive.  Any and all CSS members, family and friends interested in participating are asked to donate a toy for a child between 4 - 16 years old. Toys must be delivered to AJX no later than Wednesday, December 9th to ensure SBFD receives them timely.

You are all invited to come out and enjoy a day of flying with us. This will be a casual event in memory of our friend Ziggy. Come share some (Ziggy) stories and air time with fellow pilots and enjoy some food & drink. He enjoyed flying with "All of You", so "All" are welcome!

We will be hosting a BBQ at the LZ with Burgers, Brats, Saurkraut & Beverages.

There is a TFR in effect for the area near the Oak fire in Cajon Pass.

7 nautical mile radius from 34º19'05"N, 117º30'36"W, surface to 8,000' MSL.

We will be able to fly in the Crestline/Marshall area, just don't go west of Sugarpine Peak.

Silverwood Lake would be a good reference landmark as well.
