T-Shirt Artwork for July 12th Fly-In

The first Fly-In of the summer is scheduled for July 8, 2008, and we'd like to make t-shirts for it, since we haven't done a club shirt in a while.

None of the CSS Board members are artistically inclined, so we're counting on members or interested parties to come up with a design in time for us to get the shirts printed and ready for the fly-in.

So please brainstorm and draw using whatever tools you like and come up with something soon.

We'd like to have the artwork by the first week of June

Please email your designs or sketches to a board member (activities@crestlinesoaring.org) or post them on the forum in the events section.

If anyone feels especially motivated and wants to handle the whole t-shirt production process, feel free to speak up!

T-Shirts

Do you want designs for front and back, or just front? Humorous or artsy or both? Should we include a reference to the event, or to the club/site? Have you established a deadline for submissions? If I read the entire post I would have known that....DOH! Joel

Anything Goes, Joel

Within reason.

In the past we've done large artwork on the back and a smaller left-chest detail on the front. Front oughtta indicate CSS AJ Airpark Anniversary Fly-In 2008. The back should naturally appeal to both HG and PG pilots. Funny would be cool. We haven't done funny in like, um, ever.

Go for it!

Excellent

We're going with Jerry's artwork, with a small modification or two and some verbiage. We're mulling over a couple of printing methods - we want to do the drawing justice. More later.
