Website Glitches / Image Size Fixed - Jan 08

Our webhost applied some upgrades to the server last night, and our website naturally had a number of problems today. At first, only the weather pages were working, then the site was displaying properly but user logins were broken and the Oz Report Headlines weren't being fetched.

If you run into any odd/new website behaviors, please let me know.

Latest Glitch:
Fixed! Same Day! (1/17)
Very wide and tall images failing on upload or if in existing pages. It has to do with the new server settings for memory usage. When you upload a file the backend allocates a temporary version in RAW format (from which to create thumbnails etc. as needed), which takes MUCH more memory than a JPG.
So a 2000px x 1500px image becomes truly massive, even if it's only 1Meg or so as uploaded.

Running a quick series of test uploads I found that dimensions of 1250 x 900 or so work but much larger tends to fail. Again, it's the DIMENSIONS and not so much the RESOLUTION/COLOR DEPTH/FILE SIZE that matters.

I've put in a request for more allocated memory. I'll post somewhere visible when I know more.
