Pretty good turnout for mid-week. Lots of pilots hit 8K. It was cold and often rather turbulent.
I launched just after 1:30 and landed around 5:15. It was soarable before noon and the valley glass-off would have allowed landing after sunset. Lots of great soaring with the redtails and ravens in close too.
Looks like our little group made a couple of cameos starting at 2:44 :)

Youse guys gave me the encouragement I needed to claw my way up from the stand pipe to BB. Then I could tag launch to close my little FAI triangle. The entire low save/return to launch lasted 1:20hrs. And it was all fun.
That was a nice save.
Late into our flight, I radioed up to keep an eye out on the hangie getting low near the water tank at the bottom of the billboard spine (didn’t know who it was). Looked like you had a productive session of getting up and out.
