Conditions were in the sweet spot: Ideal SW wind direction and 8-11 mph. Thermal edges were smoother than usual.
For me, it was a day of “almost”: Almost 6k and almost 3 hours airtime. But sandwiched between a good launch and landing, it felt good.
There was a good turnout of pilots. Christian from San Diego had a personal best with his Buzz Z7 and vowed to return.
