We have lost one our dear winged brothers. Frank was in the sport for many years and I think that all of you that knew him would agree that he was a super nice guy and a joy to fly with and shoot the breeze with post flights. It was heartbreaking when he became too weak to fly anymore and the drs couldn’t figure out what was wrong. To Ann, if you read this, I send you love and am so sorry for your loss. I will include the video of the commercial with the two of you.

Mark Hoffman, sent this for all you guys who new Frank Hamann he passed away on October 1,2023 from Lou Garrett disease

Frank was a great guy, something of a gentle giant, always a pleasure to fly with.  Gone to soon, for sure. Condolences to his family & loved ones.

I had no idea.  I knew I hadn’t seen him for a while.

    I’ll miss him.
