Today, it was brought to my attention some people are unaware of the Mormon Road turnaround when driving up the 18 to Marshall launch.
The safest point to turn around as you head north on the 18 is to make a lefthand turn at the eastern intersection of Mormon Road and exit back onto the 18 from the western intersection of Mormon Road. This gives you the clearest view of oncoming traffic, and since you are stopped safely in a lefthand turn lane, you avoid having to cross 2 lanes of highway at once.
