Always thought Crestline would be an awesome place to have a speed gliding contest. August is the most reliable time for early south winds. I even took the time to layout a course. Then the fradey cats at rrrg suggested a no go. Maybe next year an impromptu unofficial style contest.
Looks like hangies had sub-style harnesses way before PG. Rigid torpedo-style harness with motorized bombay doors starting at around 8:12. I wanna see someone rocking one of those around the fishbowl. :)
