It was great to see more Marshall pilots discover the site, and they picked a good day.
I waited more than usual for a better wind direction, launching at 4pm. About 15 min earlier a row of dust devils were lined up across the valley towards launch. Sure enough, it felt like converging air as I rode the elevator up in smoother-than-usual 800 fpm. I peaked at 6k and cruised around at 5+k for 2.5 hours (until sunset). Had to spiral dive at sunset to cut through the widespread valley lift. Lots of happy pilots.
That will hold me for at least a few days.
