Here is what I got done today. I was hoping to do more, but I was freakin’ tired and the weedwhacker was really struggling with the heavier black mustard plants.
I did manage to chop down most of the bigger sunflowers and ricinus plants. I’m pretty sure those are ricinus. Warning to those of you who may want to help cut down more – ricinus are highly toxic and can cause bad skin irritation and strong allergic reactions. I had long sleeves, gloves and a respirator, so I was fine. But, be careful around those plants.
I cleared a decent walking path to the 3 wind streamers as you move up the hill.
I also cleared a good amount of grasses and black mustard from the front of the 120′ hill itself.
It can still use some work, but this is a good start.
Now I got it cleaned up pretty well and I’m too tired to fly it! 😄

Ken Howells General MemberThanks for doing the work!
I did a few flights from the 120 on Thursday and the vegetation was definitely a bit tall.
June 2, 2024 at 8:54 AM #20319You’re welcome. It’s not perfect, but it’s better.
