This particular incident in itself is not a big deal (no injuries) and we can hope the people involved use it to improve their procedures. David (Safety Director) appropriately shared the anonymized info he could gather, and I hope to see this continue with the next director.
The bigger issue is the tension between people, the CSS board and school(s). Here is a possible solution to reduce such tensions in the future.
