The CSS email has gone out to all members, the 2026 BOD Election has started with a 15 day nomination period starting today and following that the “Election Buddy” website ballot link will be emailed to all members for a 15 day voting period.

All current BOD members with the exception of Peter Song (Site Coordinator) will run for re-election in their current positions. Peter had a very busy 2025 with competitions (winning the World HG Championship for Sport Class) and now has to make up a lot of OT at work, so understandably is taking a break from BOD responsibilities.

For the role of Site Coordinator I’d like to nominate Brian Richey.  Brian has been an enormous help to both the CSS and L.S. Free Flight Conservancy this past year on multiple projects around the site, too many plumbing breaks, fixing the pond issues, and running the tractors and mowers.  He’s shown an enormous dedication to the club and I’d be happy to have him on the BOD.
