I don’t want to be confrontational or rude, but I don’t know why it’s so difficult to understand the part where a “Board” officer meeting happens every other month with the minutes posted on this website after the fact, and the “General Member” meeting that happens twice a year, for which there should be a 30 day notice to all members prior. I tried to explain it a couple of different times now. It’s right there in the By Laws. 🤷♀️ That’s the way every Board has done it over the years, but somehow this year’s Board decided it’s not important? 😶😵💫 Can you guys please just try to follow the rules on this? 🙏
P.S. What By Laws are you guys looking to change?

Board meetings are for regular business and questions and/or input from Membership.
We are NOT and did to have a CSS “GENERAL MEMBERSHIP” Meeting, which DOES require a 30 day notice.
Best regards,

After re-reading Jana’s post (ref), she seemed aware that only General (not Board) meetings require 30-day notice, but was complaining instead that the board meeting we just had, was overdue. Of course, the more notice time the better.
For Jana…
During the meeting I remembered and asked your question about what by-laws are up for review. This was Stan’s answer.

As Jerome stated, I’m aware that only the General Member meetings require a 30 day notice. It was not made crystal clear (at least to me) what kind of meeting this was supposed to be. Normally the bi-monthly Board meetings don’t get special e-mail blasts to the general members, asking them to attend. Usually the Board officers simply meet at the LZ once every two months and discuss their chosen agenda, while general members can sit nearby and listen to what’s being discussed, and anyone can pipe in if they want to add something to the conversation. We then get the minutes of that meeting posted to the website for all to see, read & discuss.
They can be found here: Meeting Agendas & MinutesEdit: Screenshot of the e-mail blast that was a bit confusing, but now is cleared up. I look forward to reading the minutes, as I was unable to attend on Saturday.
July 21, 2022 at 1:51 PM #16254Hello All,
I am taking my second trip this year to AJX from Southern NM. Back in March, I parked my beat-up camper in a less than ideal place. I saw “Overnight Parking” as an agenda item and am curious if there is anything I need to be aware of prior to arriving this next Sunday.
While searching through the forum, I came across the site sketch and a mention about dirt work happening. Will this work cause limited parking?
Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
