To all CSS Members who have HG Storage or other equipment in the Storage Containers;

We have a few changes upcoming this winter and we will be doing an audit and clean-out in the near future.

*** Big Change *** Due to Insurance requirements we can’t give the impression that we are “selling” anything.  So having a storage shelf in the containers will have to be part of your membership.  We are working on changes to the website payment system so that you can only start or renew your storage shelf rental when you start or renew a membership.  We know this is going to have a few problems because most people have the ‘subscription date’ of storage shelves not in alignment with same date of renewal for club membership.  We will work through these problems the best that we can. Stand by for further details.

At some point this winter we need to do a storage audit and also clean out Container #2 to resolve the mouse/smell problem.  I think we can pressure wash it out with lemon scented bleach and an odor enzyme, then seal up all the ingress points where the mice sneak in.

*** What I need CSS Members who have a storage shelf to do as SOON AS POSSIBLE ***

Please make sure your glider bag (all of them), are clearly marked with the current owner name and phone number.  Also, if you can for local pilots, please also mark the shelf with a piece of tape that has  your name and phone number.  This will really help with the audit.

If you are an out-of-local-area pilot, please make a post on this forum to validate which shelf you have, how many, and if your glider bag is clearly marked.  If it isn’t marked legibly we can sort out a temporary paper tag on the bag handle for you that is easy to remove later.
