I arrived to AJX at 3 pm today for a late afternoon flight and I found glider containers 2, 3, and 4 were wide open with no one around. I closed them all and took another quick look in container 2. There is so much stuff on the ground left by pilots which some of was or is being used for nesting. I also saw nut shells which means that the mice could have had food. I don’t think this should be Tim’s job to clean up.
I would seriously consider going through and cleaning off the mouse shit and pee on your equipment if you have it in container 2.
Btw, I loved the stenciled signs on the containers. Thanks to whoever did that.

I would highly recommend that container 2 be completely emptied and power washed with something like Simple Green. If any holes are discovered, they need to be plugged up. I would be very surprised if there aren’t damaged gliders in there. The smell alone would keep me from storing anything in there. It can’t be healthy.
