    Hello everyone!

    I’m a paraglider pilot from the Netherlands coming to LA. This coming weekend I hope to get some airtime if the weather permits. I’ve been surfing the web all morning and concluded that I should probably come here :-).

    I am hoping to catch a ride with a local pilot on Saturday/Sunday from downtown LA or otherwise rent a car.

    First off, Welcome!
    Be sure to watch the weather page on this site. Sunday looks good Saturday maybe not.
    You are looking for South to West winds. Anything North is not good.

    Second, Alan is spot on. The MetroLink Train is Awesome! and on weekends it’s $10 round trip.

    Hello all,

    Thanks for the replies. I like riding trains, so I will definitely look into that. In case anyone happens to drive up from Torrance let me know, that’s where I’m staying ;-)
