The initial forecast was for too-light winds, but today at noon the forecast improved to become 10 mph from SW. Game on!
I hiked from the LZ (rides are available) in 34 min and launched my PG at 2:10 pm. Got up to 5k and flew for 3 h 10 min. There was a good turnout of pilots (a mix of PG and SF), with one claiming he had his longest flight ever. Nice atmosphere with campfire in the LZ afterwards.
