Ran down to AJX early to mess with dead gator. No LZed s up to fly. I almost said bag it cause I didnt have but this old bagged S2 in the box and a layer of strato seemed persistent. FIgured hey, can take the green Piuma out and do some Marshall toplandings as it looked to be a buoyant enough day. Steve said ok to drive since another guy was late. Sent him on his way down quickly after debagging the gliders at Crestline. Few minutes later realized headgear in the truck. Hurry up and….  Maybe the helmet po po take Sundays off. did a few passes at CL lifts to 6k or so, nothing special so headed to Marshall and let the strato head east and let the sun drive up lift. The windsock looked like wonder woman’s plane – but the cage frame was pointing south so went for it. Walked the glider up to the top after a decent landing, look back toward CL and theres No L Z setting up to on top. He pulls it off with a good flare drifting east. I relaunch from the top aiming west and there he is on chase. climb 400 over, repeat. Better results. After the 5th on top, a couple aborts due to strong lift says roll it up and head in. NoL did another for his 5th and I hunted around the university for sink to core as the whole area is hundred up. PSong noticed the missing cap as I announced “No pilots were harmed during the making of this film”.  Gotta love Spring flying
