An option if several wanted to fly would be to meet at the LZ and load wings and harnesses onto one vehicle, keeping social distance etc.

Driver drives gear to the 750 or Regionals and the rest hike up.

Driver or someone hikes up after flying to retrieve driver’s truck.

Or driver self-retrieves with a motorcycle or horse left previously at the LZ.

Or the driver doesn’t fly and just drives down.

When I was a teen and dreaming of flying hang gliders a picture-book on HG that I had touted the cardio-vascular benefits of hang-gliding because back then hiking up a medium hill with a 35-pound glider was pretty easy.

I think that’s a great idea – just not having to carry my paraglider might compel me to make the hike more than once in a day.
