    Recommend reading the flight report – it’s a good read. Flight involves night vision goggles, wave flying, and multiple passes up and down the Owens. 3058 km!

    Well a little closer to home, Dirk Darling, who is a former CSS member, flew his sailplane from Warner Springs to Bishop last Sunday (7-2-23) for a 470 mile, straight line flight.  Not a bad flight, but more impressive is the logistics of getting his sailplane home 🙄.  Dirk use to fly HG’s and a Millenium when a member of CSS, but like some of us other experienced ( otherwise known as …. OLD) pilots has moved on to mostly flying sailplanes.  See you in the air, Alan
