Word on the street here in San Diego is that Torrey Pines opened back up for about a week or so and then closed again (they appear to be closed now – reopening is unknown, but I’ve seen speculation that it’s another couple of weeks).
Rumor has it that the re-closing was due to a phone call or two (by whom – no idea), followed by the county shutting them down. I have no details about any of it, so definitely do your own homework if you plan on flying there soon.
