I don’t live in socal anymore and didn’t see the damage to the shade structure in person. If this were my project I would if rebuilt the old shade structure but would have built it to resist uplift….3 guys with tools and lumber.
I built all sorts of stuff over 35 years and all this seem excessive. I will enjoy whatever gets built when ever I visit Cali
