I know that you’re not likely to disagree with the Events Coordinator and vice versa, because the two of you are a (married?) couple. I’m beginning to realize that both of you being on the board is a terrible idea, as it almost guarantees that the two of you will agree on most issues and vote the same way, whereas if there wasn’t a relationship there, both of you would be far more likely to make independent decisions of each other.
Only old couples (married or not, straight or not) who bicker all the time should be allowed to serve simultaneously on the board, guaranteeing they will be in disagreement on issues and cancel each other’s votes.
June 28, 2026 at 5:43 PM #24233That’s a pretty stupid response Jerome. I thought you had more class than that!

Mark Hoffmann Premium MemberI like the part where a few campers can camp 1 to 3 weeks at a time and other campers can’t camp 1 day. :)
June 28, 2026 at 9:27 PM #24240For Dave…
The statement is ridiculous by design. Some (more than one) are trying too hard to read others minds and then condemning based on their guesses.
And stop overestimating me. ;-)June 29, 2026 at 4:34 AM #24242What Jerome said ↑
Now that is worth considering, and possibly endeavor to emulate the meaning for the context !
We sometimes just get way too Caught-Up in ourselves ; myself included . :(

July 5, 2026 at 8:01 AM #24275I cant figure out how an RV in the parking lot constitutes an existential threat to the site. There was a camper there yesterday and no government officials swarmed to enforce ambiguous statutes, threatening to close the place down.
Help me understand.
Never mind, you cant.
I cant recall any official ever visiting the site to even mention the supposed unlawfulness of visitors staying on site. There were times we had loads of people staying on site for months at a time, back in the days of hospitality. there are prominent members of CSS who were on the fringe just as Steve. Living in a box or trailer in the trees, who were able to change their circumstances with the help of others. What would their condition be now had they not gotten that boost. Or imagine they got a kick downward instead. Hmmm. Now if this whole thing is a method to rid the country club of the unwashed, just say so. Change the bylaws to state minimum income, cosmetic, and social standing limits and itll all be fair and out in the open ahead of time, without the “jepperdizing the site” chicken little scare tactic.Itll be cool, work it into the membership meetings by passing out say, little sherds of pottery that the members can write the names of those whom they deem undesireable upon. Cast out one or two per meeting, pretty soon itll be the prettiest member roster in the USA! Democracy at work.
