is that orange and white wing a Sensor?

just found these pics… those are Steve Corbin wings.. Steve Corbin at AJLZ 101

Steve Corbin HG 1992 02202020 landing Sensor at AJX

That blue and whit topless with Px10 top surface and leading edge looks like his Fusion.

I miss that guy!!! I remember the day i hiked to the 750. Steve was on his WW fusion… I yelled up, Steve land that thing! he made 2 passes and landed his topless Fusion on the 750 and touched down about 4 feet from the ESE lip :)

Not related to post but there is a wing in the bin#4 tagged w/Jeff Bergman. Jeff past away some time around 2013

Luke, Mario and I were replying to Marcello’s post about the PG area and CSS launch area. Not the entire LZ. you say Astro turf costs to much then in the next sentence you come up with a new idea… Hey lets use astro-turf for the PG area. :)

now back to the i thought we were getting water from the pond question ???

Mario, i was thinking the same thing about those carpet fibers. I guess Astro Turf would be better than carpet.

I thought we were getting pond water. That’s like the driest i have seen the LZ looking since it was dirt. Why are all the local homes and parks grass still green and the LZ tanked.. Maybe to much of that weed killer that was applied months ago.

Just a reminder to dog owners…. as i watched a cool looking ( i think Alaskan husky, maybe part wolf) walking the LZ hunting around gophers holes and sniffing around if the pet owner knows that the dog could end up with a gopher full of the poisons that have been dropped down the gopher holes for the last 3 months.

Dusty, That was a fun day… I guess i was at around 10K trying to catch up to you. Guess you were at around 11.5K climbing out to 13K maybe. do you remember the top out alt that day?

I saw that airliner while 60 seconds out. looked like a baseball; hard to see ( until 30 seconds out, then 20, then 10 then; See Ya. , I could tell we we 350 to 450 feet apart so i just kept thermaling with a GREAT climb rate. :)  if i remember correctly i never did catch up to you.
