Yesterday was pretty good, and it looks like it will be the rest of the week. After an hour and a half, I was the only one flying, got bored, and landed. Thanks to Gene for the ride to launch.
How about someone being an ambassador of goodwill and drop the ban? Stop splitting hairs and let’s get back to having fun. We’re all a bunch of yahoos and that’s why we are hang pilots.
It’s been almost a year since the unjust ban on Gene was implemented. I expect it will be lifted on November 1st. Then I hope our fractured club can start healing and become united again.
Yesterday, he was also a huge help to a hike-n-flyer stranded due to heat exhaustion. The hiker called Gene knowing he would do everything needed to get him to safety. Thanks Gene!
