Maybe they could be donated to some Air Museum?

Our friends Dusty & Cathy Rhodes were also a big help on that project as well.

You may want to take a machete for brush clearing on the way to the windsock pole. PG pilots can launch off the side of Cloud afterwards, if one choses to help.

The last size I had on record for Cloud Peak was: 18″ X 60″. Items you’ll need to change out the windsock.

30′ rope to lower pole down. 7/16″ wrenches to unbolt hinge plate. Side cutter pliers. SS tie wraps to attach sock to frame (Harbor Freight). 3-in-1 oil for bolts. Small channel locks & 1-2 helpers to help lower down the pole to the ground so you can install new windsock.

It’s not up to the pilots who pay a yearly or weekly fee/dues to fly at the site, to police other pilots’ dogs, or their actions. It’s up to the Dumb Shits that let their dogs run free, and could care less about your equipment, or you, for that matter.

This has been a problem for too many years.

BAN ALL DOGS FROM THE LZ AND THE PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED!

Other than that, live with what you let happen every day.

    CSS club records.

Towards the end of my three year term as CSS club president, any club records we still had, were moved and stored in the green 20′ container that was under the old shade structure.

That container is near the candy cane structure, just north of the kitchen/BBQ area in the LZ.

You may find what you’re looking for there.

I checked mine this past weekend and everything looked good.

Maybe we could let this sucker loose in the containers for a few weeks to end the visiting mice?

In the original posting,  I listed it as a 175, that was wrong.

It is a 195. Sorry about the confusion. Fly Safe!

    Ditto to Bo’s post.

Paul was a joy to be around. Definitely one of the “good guys”!

To all that come around AJX, be vigilant on the ground and in the air as well.

Or simply said: PG pilots do a Right Hand approach into the landing zone.

HG pilots do a Left Hand approach into the landing zone.

I vote for grass in the LZ per Marcello’s post.

I agree with Tom, to much bitchin going on.

There has been a lot of good posts and information brought up on this subject matter by the pilots. All great things to consider when trying to come to a direction the members would like to aim for.

This club has a huge and vast variety of talent that volunteers their time and efforts for all of us. It sure seems with all of the smart people around, eventually, we’ll have an agreement that works with the Ranch & CSS.

Have some patience and give it some time.

    KEEP VOLUNTEERING, IT ALL HELPS!
