What about AJ? You’ll hurt his feelings if you don’t offer to exhibit his masterful artwork. Then he’ll be upset and will run you over next time you give him a wire assist and gawd knows we don’t want that now do we? Worse yet if AJ will be so miffed that he’ll overshoot his next wheel landing out into BFE LZ where he’ll tear the lines off some innocent PG and then we’ll all have to suffer another of Mitchell’s lengthy diatribes about how “%*(@^-#!)#^&$%” stupid this club and all its members in addition to our national association. When the MMHPA is organized I have first dibs on member #2.
So it looks like the Smithsonian have taken a cue from Ms Dunn
Jonathan DietchGeneral MemberVery entertaining. I especially enjoyed all the graphics created by the children.
I want this one on a long sleeve T-shirt. Sums up my life nicely.
Jonathan DietchGeneral MemberThanks.
That’s how an accident report should be investigated and presented.
Jonathan DietchGeneral MemberHere’s the whole video.
Jonathan DietchGeneral MemberGood work David & Jérôme & Jana for her photography and her freshly minted P4!

https://www.ushpa.org/page/download.aspx?DocKey=810Jonathan DietchGeneral MemberKenny had a secret YouTube channel with only one video which had a total of 2 views when I found it this evening. I think it speaks for itself.
Jonathan DietchGeneral MemberI made this little insider’s homage to Kenny. Turn the sound up and you’ll get it.
Don’t forget his YouTube channel. He loved making videos.
https://www.youtube.com/whackwestfall1/videosJonathan DietchGeneral MemberThis afternoon, I reached out to Randy Moore, Regional Forester, who oversees the USFS land in SoCal where we fly. I received a call from Zach Behrens, Public Affairs Officer, San Bernardino National Forest. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we will very likely regain access to our roads, trails, launches and landing sites sometime during the afternoon of Friday, October, 9, 2020. A new order is expected to be issued during the coming week which will specify what all is to be reopened and should mention the time of day this coming Friday that will have access.
This will affect:

Jonathan DietchGeneral MemberThe prohibition is extended through September 21, 2020.

16 USC 551 should be viewed here:
https://uscode.house.gov/view.xhtml?req=granuleid:USC-prelim-title16-section551&num=0&edition=prelim#551_1
It states that 471 was repealed but that other sections and federal regulations are still effective. This leads us to 36 C.F.R. 261.50(a) and (b) and your best source for that is here:
https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/CFR-2019-title36-vol2/pdf/CFR-2019-title36-vol2-part261.pdfI’d love to help you further but I am busy dealing with the CA FTB who wants my 93-year old mother to file a CA return even though she has lived continuously in Florida since 1989 but we use my home address to file her federal returns. I have to jump through this hoop of fire every year. Not dealing with this promptly may eat into my soaring budget. See you in the air!

Pilot on Marshall launched in a mush then ground-looped back into the hillside.
Remedy: Run Forrest, run!Jonathan DietchGeneral MemberSpeaking of sprinklers – my recent videos have been getting remarks from around the world about the condition of our LZ grass. I do not recall whether it was this dry and brown during the months of August in the past. Is it any different than past years and if so, what can I tell people about it?
Thanks, JD
