This is still under consideration if you can fly with my lime green colors?
However.
Fly Safe!
A little” water” goes a long way. I think it’s helping with my recovery.
I’m doing pretty good. Finally walked 1.5 miles with crutches, foot boot and back brace.
As they say, “time heals all wounds”.
See you soon.
Fly Safe!
We will surely miss our friend and fellow pilot.
He was one of the good one’s!

If I had to guess, I think vodka was served for breakfast?

Oh, I’m thinking carbon. That way it would match my gray & black colored harness.
Thanks Billie, I may take you up on that. My right one is only 9 1/2. I wonder if that would put a slight left hand turn in the wing???
Fly Safe, Lefty!

Hydration is very important this time of the year in our area.
A few years back we had a visiting PG pilot from some other area, I believe it was from some place like maybe CO.?
Anyway, he collapse’s his wing out in front of Marshall launch, down 300′. He gets back to launch, takes the ride down to the LZ, totally exhausted from the event, and is left there with his friends.
Now he’s starting to shiver and shake from heat exhaustion. It was summer time.
We get him in the shade, we give him cold water, and tell his buddies, go get gatorade, mountain dew soda at the local Circle K, and get back here pronto.
They do, he drinks it all, and it work out fine.
He was definitely going south into heat stroke!
I’ve use this several times over the years for myself, and my cycling friends when we use to do century rides, when someone bonked.
Just carry some extra water, when you fly, it will only help when you need it the most & in an emergency!

You always have some great insight, we just don’t think about.
Rock On!
You Guy’s and Girls are awesome that have stepped forward to steer this Club!
Thank You!
I’ve found through all this situation that you have to do what is right for YOU! If that means social distancing, etc. than do it, to protect yourself. If you are a high risk person, or you know or live with someone that is, just do it.
Nobody can do it for you!
It’s kinda like driving a car. Most of us, a little of us, a small portion of us, abide by the rules and laws. Speeding, tailgating, running or California stops, etc., we are all guilty of. Most of the time it turns out OK, but sometimes serious consequences do occur. Death can even happen in some cases. Take our sport for instance, if good judgement is not used.
One good thing about all this “social distancing” thing . I like the personal hygiene aspect. You don’t have to brush your teeth, use deodorant or use mouthwash. If everyone is keeping their distance, they can’t smell you? And if they can, the’re to close…
While in the air and launching, I prefer the 50 meter distance to my flying friends. The site got crowded today, we had 3 show up.
Most of the Central Coast pilots make the run up to Sand City in the Monterey area this time of the year. . It’s on and much cooler if your needing a road trip and cooler temps. I almost broke into a sweat hiking back up to my truck after flying.
Fly & Stay Safe!
Hey Darren, welcome to the group.
Sounds like you are moving forward with your plans to aviate.
Great Plan!
I know a guy, who knows a guy, that knows another guy, that can run a CSS club tractor, to clear that landing field. Between all of us guys, we’ll get it done very soon.
That way, you can keep up the great training plan you’re on.
Fly Safe!
Hopefully, you/they would drink up what is in the mugs first?
