I want to support CSS , (it’s a Great club) ; as a Vet, it would be Great if you gave me a 25 to 30% discount !! Maybe add 2% to the fee , because I’m also disabled ! LOL

Not to start a fight ; I’d like to know what the board decided , what the amount for camping fees is ? It kinda affects Me . There are 2 State campgrounds within a 20 minute drive, that I can attend for free so if camping at CSS is more than $ 8 to $ 10 then I will say your being unreasonable and ya won’t get a dime from me.

Google search , camping fees for disabled Veterans in California state parks :
“The State of California offers special benefits for its military service members and veterans, including the Distinguished Veteran Pass, a no-fee lifetime pass that entitles users to the use of all basic facilities – including day use, boating and camping – in California state parks at no charge.”
And that comes with showers , and cooking grills !!
It is the reason I joined CSS ; so I can use the port-a-potties, running water, and grills, along with landing my glider on the CSS rented property.
BTW : I am a Disabled Vet

For me , it’s not only the Goon-Ball that took out my Atos ; rules should
be applied to/for anyone that wants to fly at CSS (.)
I follow the rules ; I expect the same from , “Everyone” who also flyer here.
Who are ya hurting , by not enforcing your rules ? ————- (Everyone)

Billie, if you believe the other pilot needs to be reminded of the rules or disciplined notify the Safety Director. Also you can bring it up at the General Member meeting in October.But not on the 16’th ?

LOL ; that was Funny !!
The Delux package would be worth the investment ; if pilots would stay clear of my thermals !
However : I do enjoy the connection, with a knowledgeable thermal pilot, (HG or PG) ; and gaining a bunch of altitude !!!

I believe this to be important ; and should be addressed :
Last month a HG pilot , rolled a landing and destroyed my Atos, that was parked over a tie-down near the shade-structure, I asked him why he didn’t turn Left and land into the designated HG landing aria ?
His Answer : ” I didn’t want to walk my glider from way over there ; because I was tired”.
Not only is that a dangerous way for a HG to land , (in the PG aria) but extremely Rude, and there should be consequences for anyone who does it intentionally !!!
