Rumors and fading memories! The best part of rumors is that anyone can start one. Make it just juicy enough and someone will believe it. If you don’t like it, you can start a whole new one. Be sure to stick to rule # 1 (make it juicy).
The problem is, two weeks after you start it, you’ve forgotten the real content or why the heck you went there in the first place?

Awesome vision and execution by all involved in this project.

You’re still the Man!
I wonder what the dirt road (2 N40) looks like on the way up to the 750, Regionals and Marshall launches.
If anybody travels that route in the upcoming weeks, a report on it would be nice.

Hey Tim!
We use to have a heavy duty Rigid/Milwaukee drill motor in the container that did that exact job. I believe there are some drill bits there aswell.
Let me know when you plan do do the job.
Thanks Again for all your help and efforts!

Great turnout for a day of flying and BBQ. Some 50 plus pilots, friends and family out for the day.
Thank you Gene and Nichole and all the volunteers who helped prepare and serve some fine food and desert.
We were also treated to some Great “Sandy Van cake” for the celebration.
Pilot reports of spring like conditions with cool temps above 5K. Choppy at times, early on to smoother air later in the day. Some getting to 5-6 K throughout the day, with nice cumulus clouds forming till after 6:30 pm.
Lots of student pilots getting in 2-3 flights throughout the day, with a nice late day glass off .

I support this ban, on someone who took his insults, profanity’s, etc., way to far on this website. Besides, it was based on his opinion, and not real life events. He has belittled anyone that had an intelligent response that made sense, in response to the science.
We are not in kindy garden any more, the school yard bully is dead and gone.
I suggest, turn on a TV once in awhile, and watch what is going on around us, in the world.
Besides, I could care less of his opinion of Covid-19 pandemic. He’s not even close to having any medical opinion that matters to us.
I’ll leave that decision up to me, based on my research and science. I’ll do what’s right for me and my family, not what some ass&8(#@0 thinks!
Stay Safe!

We can all learn from our lessons.

I’ve hiked back from a few of them.

At the least, a pair of steel tipped safety shoes/boots.
He could of stubbed a toe coming in for a landing…

I found this on the NOAA page for San Bernardino this morning.

Devils Canyon: 74 mph. at 11:40 am.
CSU San Bernardino: 78 mph at 12:40 pm.

Looks like we have some time to brainstorm this cover thing. And, they do design some of these steel framed and roofed covered shelters to withstand 100 mph winds.
From what I’ve read in the past, they can be bought as kits and bolt together. A good concrete pad should have enough weight to hold it in place.
I saw the one below in Riverside a few years back and took some pictures for reference.
I don’t know all the sizes available, but this one looked pretty hefty with 3-4′ square tubing frame work. Plus it was all galvanized & it looked like it was all just bolted/screwed together. No painting down the road.
You know what they say, “Go big or go home”!
Well, we needed to put a new coat of paint on it anyway!
